The highly memorable costume worn by Jennifer Saunders in the comedy duos iconic spoof comedy homage sketches in her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe.
The floor length gown, intricately covered in red sequins, closely emulates the dress worn by Marilyn Monroe in the classic 1953 film 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes'.
Please note that the cuff detail was removed subsequent to production for alternative costumier use.
One of the most significant costumes from the series and very identifiable to the show and successful comedian. A wonderful and important piece of British comedy history.
