Prop Toy Skittles & Rattles
A group of prop toys made for the classic family Christmas movie starring Dudley Moore.
Comprising of three different large Skittles with shaped heads and three Rattle like hand held toys. All being hand crafted of wood with added painted detailing.
Such prop toys were made specially for the incredible Elf workshop and store sequences. The Production intentionally wanted all the toys to be of a traditional style and of handmade wooden construction. A Crew of highly skilled carpenters constructed a multitude of individually crafted wooden toys to fill the required sequences. None of the toys were 'off the shelf' and being handmade, none were totally identical.
A rare and wonderful group of props from the much beloved Christmas movie.
