David Jason Under Butler Costume
A two piece costume made for David Jason in his starring role as 'Micawber' in the John Sullivan television series adaptation of the classic Charles Dickens character creation.
Such a costume can be seen worn by the character for the majority of the fourth episode of the series when he becomes an Under Butler.
Comprises of a matching tailcoat and waistcoat, with gold braiding detailing. Both garments retain their original internal 'Angels' costumier labels, detailing both the actor and production dates.
A wonderful and very identifiable costume from the highly successful career of the beloved British comedic actor, in one of his most acclaimed roles.
