Humanoid Miniature (Standing)
From the 1979 Walt Disney science fiction movie comes this miniature full figure 'Humanoid' character.
The miniature was used in a window display in Disneyland's Main Street USA to help promote the 1979 release of Disney's The Black Hole".
Several different character miniatures are known to have been utilised for the display and it has been rumoured that the miniatures were actually sourced from production, although this can not be confirmed.
The highly detailed figure features a cloth costume over a hard rubber type body form with detailed arms and boots. There are two metal protruding rods from the base of each boot, obviously for originally fixing to a set base. The hooded head features the signature reflective face mask with small hole detailing.The head has become detached from the body and the face mask has suffered cracking to the lower half, otherwise it is in very good overall condition.
