The popularity of the british television series 'The Avengers' was at an amazing peak in the late 1960's. So much so that in 1968 a licenced limited designer fashion range was produced in conjunction with the Show. Very little is known about the range but it is believed to have only been sold exclusively through selective large department stores in London, such as Selfridges.
Needless to say, any items from this range are incredibly rare and less than a handful are currently known to still exist.
Propmasters have been incredibly fortunate to recently secure four different styles of 'Emma Peel' Catsuit/Jumpsuit from the range. They had originally been bought by an American tourist in London in the late 1960's, taken back to America and lovingly kept until we recently acquired them.
This Catsuit/Jumpsuit is orange with cream side stripes and a zipper front, complete with companion belt. In superb condition having been carefully stored since new, still retains original interior neck clothes label and hanging Avengers Playing Card tag together with 'Crimpoline' card tag.
A possibly unique opportunity to purchase such a rare piece of Avengers and TV Culture history.
