Derek Meddings was one of the most legendary miniature effects artist of all time. He and his team produced miniatures of the highest standard from the 1960's through to the 1990's for television and film.

This large scale radio control Marine Truck was used in 'Moonraker' and is so incredibly well made that even to this day it is not obviously a composite model/live action sequence. As was quite typical with Meddings models it was likely used in other subsequent alternative productions too. 

Correct to every fine detail the Truck still retains it's Astronaut passengers to the rear and remains a wonderful testament to the finest of movie craftsmanship.
