From the 1983 Michael Mann cult classic, comes this two piece suit made for Ian McKellen in his leading role as 'Dr. Theodore Cuza'.It has not been possible to identify this colour style of Suit on screen so it was likely used in a cut scene or even an unused alternative to the black pin stripe Suit that he does wear throughout his role (previously sold by Propmasters).The Jacket still retains the original Bermans & Nathans costumier typed label detailing the actor and production, with the hand written word 'Big'. It is incredibly difficult to source anything from this cult movie from the early stages of Michael Mann's illustrious Directorial career and this is an intriguing example.Originating from the world famous Angels Costumiers.COSTUME ARCHIVE
