Charles Knode's first job as a Costume Designer was on an episode of the BBC Television series 'Sir Arthur Conan Doyle' from 1967.  This original hand executed design is for the actress Charlotte Rampling in her role as 'Julia Lambert' in one episode of the series.

Charlotte Rampling was one of Britain's most iconic stars of the 1960's, having been a very famous model before becoming an actress.

The unique hand drawn costume design features a full length costume design accompanied by numerous annotations on the one sheet by renowned costume designer Charles Knode. Executed by hand in pencil and paint.

A historically important design in the career of one of cinema's most respected costume designers.

Costume design plays a highly important and integral part in the film making process.
