A hand drawn principal costume design for the lead character 'General Gordon - Major General Full Dress', portrayed by Charlton Heston.
Depicting a full length costume design with attached material costume swatch. Executed by hand in fine pencil and water colours by the film's Costume Designer, Bill Carman, together with his hand annotations and signature.
Interestingly, post production, this design was then selected to be placed on display within the London head offices of the world famous Bermans and Nathans Costumiers, who supplied the wardrobe for the film.
A visually stunning unique artefact from the classic epic, double mounted, framed and glazed, ready for display.
