From the third instalment of the iconic Die Hard movie saga, starring Bruce Willis as 'John McClane', comes this prop gold bar.
The gold bar was one of those used during the Federal Reserve Bank of New York raid sequences. Deceptively, only a few single bars were made in comparison with solid block units to give the illusion of quantity.
This prop gold bar was one of those known to have originally been retained by the studio, being hand signed by Jeremy Irons (Simon Gruber) along one side, and used for promotion of the film upon it's release. A guarantee of authenticity against questionable examples on the market.
The bar is constructed of a gold painted resin material with various embossed stamped detailing.
Exhibits slight wear/chipping but overall very good condition.
