STAR WARS THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK (1980)

Film Crew Numbered Passport

A rare exclusive Cast and Crew issue 'Passport' made during the production of 'The Empire Strikes Back'.

The Passport was designed and thought up by Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back Producer, Gary Kurtz, to enable full security within the Star Wars stages during filming at Elstree Studios, whilst at the same time adding an ingenious piece of Star Wars magic. Called the Passport for obvious reasons, being that pages had to be stamped for clearance on to certain named areas of the Star Wars Stages.

A high quality item with thick board covers and sixteen different pages, many featuring Star Wars associated emblems and illustrations. The Passport is stamp numbered to the front and with stamps inside, indicating it was actually utilised which is very rare amongst the known surviving examples.

The Intergalactic Passport is one of the most iconic Star Wars Cast and Crew items ever produced for the blockbusting saga.
