From the 1980 science fiction cult classic movie, starring Sam Jones in the title role as Flash Gordon, comes this rare blue helmet worn by one of the citizens of Mongo. This style of Helmet can be be seen worn by one of the citizens of Mongo that are seated behind Flash Gordon's execution chair. Constructed of a fibreglass material coloured blue with hand applied decoration to the front, back and edges . Exhibits some decoration detail loss but still presents very well. Flash Gordon pieces increasingly become difficult to source and wardrobe from the film seldom surfaces on the collectors market.
