FLASH GORDONHawkman Spear Head

From the 1980 science fiction cult classic movie, starring Sam Jones in the title role as Flash Gordon, comes this prop Hawkman Spear Head. Such a style of Spear can be seen brandished by Flash Gordon in promotional material for the film and on screen in the Rocket Cycle launch chamber. The ornately shaped Spear Head is hollow ended where the handle would have originally been positioned. Constructed of a painted silver grey resin fibre glass material. Due to source it is very likely this particular Spear Head was the very one used for the promotional material designs. Flash Gordon pieces increasingly become difficult to source and this is only the second example of such a Spear Head we have ever encountered.
