GOLDEN COMPASS, THE (2007)

An unprecedented and important archive of 14 made/filmed Digital HD Film Cassette Tapes and 2 reference video casettes from the production of the epic 2007 movie starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig.T

he 50/40 minute Digital HD Cassettes are individually referenced with some featuring larger descriptive labels titled such as: 'Daemon Tests/VFX Genesis', '2nd Unit VFX Shoot (Polar Bear)', etc. Many of the Cassette Cases feature internal production paperwork.

These films would have been shot by the Visual Effects department in rehearsal and preparation for final filming. The 2 Video Cassettes feature actual wildlife documentaries, referenced for creation of the Daemons. All are in fine condition and, although unviewed/tested, should remain in working order.An incredible and unique look in to the art of 21st Century film making at it's highest standard.
