From Ridley Scott's 2000 blockbuster epic starring Russell Crowe comes this Roman Praetorian Guard Shield.Such Shields are clearly seen used in several notable sequences throughout the film being brandished by the principal Guards of 'Commodus' (Joaquin Phoenix) and are highly identifiable.The Shield is constructed of a painted canvas covered curved wood with added decoration detailing to the front.Exhibits slight production wear but remains in very presentable condition.A wonderfully instantly recognisable prop that makes a perfect display piece from the multi award winning movie .
