STAR WARS (1977)

A rare Star Wars Glory Book that was presented to select members of the Cast and Crew working on the 1977 science fiction classic.

The spiral bound Book contains twenty five different high quality studio production images, the last of which being dedicated and hand signed by George Lucas and Gary Kurtz on the reverse. The front cover features the now iconic triangular 'The Star Wars' production decal.

Accompanying the Glory Book is a hand written note from Bunny Alsup (assistant to the producer), dated November 1976, still with it's original mailing envelope, additionally featuring 'The Star Wars' production decal to the reverse. The letter interestingly includes the following statement: "Star Wars is coming together and one day soon we'll have a great film". How very right she was.

Both items were the former property of the lady that was the hand stand-in/model for C-3PO.
