An original production used animation cel for Otomo's legendary 1988 animated masterpiece AKIRA. Akira became an instant hit and turned international eyes towards taking Japanese animation seriously. Perhaps the most interesting thing about Akira, was how it presented a wide range of social issues within the frame work of something quite extraordinary. The wonderful cel is complete with it's uniquely numbered corresponding production pencil hand drawn artwork and is additionally accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from 'Streamline Pictures'. A unique piece of Japanese animation history from the most celebrated movie of it's genre.
