THE SAINT/PERSUADERSRoger Moore Tuxedo

A rare Tuxedo Two Piece Suit bespoke made for Roger Moore. Both the Jacket and the Trousers have the original Tailor labels which are named and dated. The Suit dates from the 1967 onwards period.Accompanied by a hand written letter from the son of Roger Moore's personal Chauffer to whom this Suit was given personally to by him. It also details that Roger Moore also wore this suit to a Royal Variety Performance where he met the Queen. The well tailored Suit comprises of a single beast Jacket with extra lined Lapels and a pair of Trousers with applied outer seam. From the letter of provenance accompanying this wonderful Suit it seems it may well have been used in both 'The Saint' and 'The Persuaders'.INFO UPDATE: From extra research (our sincere thanks to Jan) it seems the Trousers only were likely used in the Persuaders but not the Jacket, the Jacket being used in The Saint. This would make sence as to why they are dated differently (Jacket 1967. Trousers 1969).
