FLASH GORDONHawkman Sword

A prop Sword utlised by the Hawkman characters in the film. This style of Sword was unique to the Hawkmen and can be clearly seen throughout the film. There is some damage to the top of the handle but it still displays very well. Interestingly housed in a purposely built custom display base with recess for the Sword's exact shape and mounted with a brass plaque, engraved with 'Flash Gordon 1979-80'. The case is obviously old in manufacture and possibly may have been used for display purposes to promote the film upon it's release or even as an elaborate gift presented to a crew member.
